The CNU 21 Design track will explore the connections between the Global, National, State, Region, Community, Site, and Parcel with design as the common connective tissue that must be held to create the best solution possible at all scales. This design track will explore scales of design: should design be approached from the broader global view to the specific parcel, or inversely from the parcel and its impacts back to the global? Bio regional planners, Urban planners, Urban designers, Landscape architects, Architects, and all other creative's involved in the built environment play a critical role in the design of the built environment, we will analyze the connectivity between these disciplines, and look at the cloud of possibilities that exist in the space between what is global and what is parcel. |
