Salt Lake City's Hub District is centered on the State's transit system. UTA's TRAX, Front Runner, Bus lines and a future street car all converge at the Salt Lake Central Station (Intermodal Hub). The historic Rio Grande building is a landmark structure in this district and was once the transit nexus and gateway to Salt Lake City. The Hub District has been declared a Wasatch Choice for 2040 catalytic site and is on the verge of redevelopment. I propose a presentation that will communicate the current vision for the district and to discuss how the Hub District can realize its full potential.
