As predictable as Tea Party advocates are against Smart Growth, the 'designer' ego-driven architects are typically against limiting their creations through a municipal codes. At CNU20, Dan Solomon opened our event with a philosophical gauntlet critical of the value of SmartCodes, SmartCoding, and LEED-ND to the built environment. A surprise opening that lingered throughout the event, I recommend we continue the discussion and dig deeper at CNU21! (Clarification, this is not intended to be personal attack on Dan Solomon, I applaud him applying rigor to our coding efforts.)
